Web Design Portfolio

I’ve compiled a short list of the web design projects I’m most proud of to date so you can see the type of work I do.

Being a very data-driven individual, I have always loved the digital world, from design to functionality.

Why not take a look for yourself?

Web Design Services

When starting a new web design project with a client, it is very important to me that I can offer everything they require to ensure their site looks fantastic and works even better.

How does it all work?

The Web Design Process

I'm often asked how the whole web design process works once we've decided to work together. That's why I've outlined exactly that below. I break the process up into 5 key steps.

Step 1 - Discovery
The first step on all of my projects is to gather as much information as possible to ensure what I am creating is to specification. I'll be asking questions about functionality requirements, design preferences, what sort of images and content you already have and any other things that will help me paint a picture of what you are looking for. I will then provide you with a quote.
Step 2 - Design
Once we've agreed on the concept, I'll begin designing the site offline. I'll create different design ideas so you can view a few style options. You'll be kept in the loop a lot during this step as your feedback is incredibly important to the process, it is your site after all! When you're happy, we can sign this section off.
Step 3 - Development
Step 3 is the actual build of the site. I'll begin constructing the design we have agreed upon and making the site work as discussed. Your input won't be needed much here as by this point we should both be clear and happy with what is being built.
Step 4 - Details
The devil really is in the details. Once your site is built, it will go through a testing phase to ensure everything works as it should and site is solid. This will also be the first time you get to see your site live, this is one of the best bits.
Step 5 - Demonstration
Once your site is built and ready to go, I will teach you how to use it. It doesn't matter how attractive a site is if you don't know how to use it! I like to create instructional videos for clients so they can reference them at any time if they ever forget how to do something.

What do I use?

My Web Design Tools

- Photoshop, Illustrator and XD for all things design. Usually, Photoshop and Illustrator are used for logo design and XD is primarily for the actual website design. - Wordpress is an open-source website development tool used by most websites on the internet. It gives its users a great deal of control over their sites without the need to understand coding languages. It is the foundation for all sites I build and allows me to create amazing websites that customers can use easily. - Elementor Pro is a page builder that attaches to WordPress, it allows me to bring the designs I create to life online. All websites I build will use Elementor Pro. - Crocoblock is another design plugin that attaches to WordPress. It fills in all the gaps Elementor Pro leaves and has lots of design and functionality features that can be really useful. I don’t use Crocoblock on all my client websites as often Elementor Pro can do everything required. - Woocommerce is the industry standard WordPress plugin for taking payments online. All ecommerce sites I construct will use Woocommerce as the primary payment plugin.
